As the band celebrate their thirtieth year, ‘Past Imperfect…’ showcases collected works throughout their rich history, with the addition of one new track. It is in chronological order and split in to 4 sections/2 halves – the first half being the original line up of the band with Al Macaulay (drums), Mark Colwill (bass) and Dickon Hinchliffe (violin, guitar, string arrangements). The second half is the present-day line up with Earl Harvin (drums) and Dan McKinna (Bass, piano, string arrangements). Stuart. A. Staples, Neil Fraser (guitar) and David Boulter (various instruments) are always present.
Standard 2CD and 2LP formats contain Past Imperfect: The Best of Tindersticks ’92 – ’21. Deluxe 3CD and Box Set also contain Live At Glasgow City Hall 5th October 2008.
2LP is pressed on 140g black vinyl with a gatefold jacket and printed inner sleeves. Comes with a download code
4LP Box Set, the 2LPs containing Past Imperfect are pressed on transparent orange vinyl. The 2LP containing Live At Glasgow City Halls 5th October 2008 are pressed on black vinyl. LPs are in gatefold jackets with printed inner sleeves and comes with a download code. Gatefolds wrapped in heavy weight slip case and are hand numbered. This format is limited edition one time pressing format.
