Apricot And Black Marble Vinyl LP

20th ANNIVERSARY EDITION OF THE PINEAPPLE THIEF'S CLASSIC FOURTH ALBUM PRESENTED ON APRICOT & BLACK MARBLE VINYL.
'10 Stories Down' is The Pineapple Thief's fourth studio album, originally released in June 2005. The album was recorded across 2004 & 2005 with frontman Bruce Soord serving as producer. In 2023, it received a full remix & remaster treatment by Bruce Soord (mixing) & Steve Kitch (remastering).

A blend of progressive rock with elements of Brit-pop, the album is often likened to the moody atmospherics of Radiohead or Muse. The album actually supersedes an earlier, limited preview release titled '12 Stories Down' (2004), comprising rawer mixes & a few exclusive tracks. '10 Stories Down' represents the definitive, polished version.

After just one walkthrough or maybe even a glimpse from afar, you'll want to immediately reserve your spot in this luxurious, but unusually resilient high-rise - Music Street Journal

'10 Stories Down' stands as a defining early work for The Pineapple Thief. With its dreamy, melancholic textures & progressive compositions, it remains a fan-favourite & a landmark in the band's evolution.

One of the leading lights in Europe's experimental rock domain, The Pineapple Thief were formed in 1999 by founder & chief songwriter Bruce Soord. Their 14th studio album 'It Leads To This' (2024) was their biggest yet, reaching #1 in the Official Rock & Metal chart & followed up by extensive worldwide touring. The line-up has remained solid since 2016's game-changing 'Your Wilderness': Bruce Soord (guitar/vocals), Jon Sykes (bass/backing vocals), Gavin Harrison (drums/percussion) & Steve Kitch (keyboards).

This 20th anniversary edition of '10 Stories Down' is presented on apricot & black marble vinyl in a single sleeve. The audio was remastered in 2023 by Steve Kitch at Steve Kitch Remastering studios.
