King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard returns to the officially sanctioned Bootlegger Series through Having Fun Records with a release inspired by the haunting history of Soviet-era “bone music” recordings — underground records pressed onto discarded medical x-rays. Drawn from live recordings captured during the band’s 2025 performances at Field of Vision, this edition transforms the Bootlegger Series into a morbid archival artifact: a playable human skull rendered in translucent one-sided x-ray form.
