Originally released in 2001 and available again as part of a comprehensive reissue of Coxon's solo catalogue on Transgressive, these re-issues follows the first wave from last month, which included the critically acclaimed unreleased studio album Castle Park (reached #6 on the OCC Independent Chart)
The album found him stretching his wings as a songwriter. While the likes of 'Burn It Down' and 'You Will Never Be' buzzed with the same noisy alt-rock energy he'd brought to bear on iconic Blur tracks such as 'Song 2', on the record's gentler moments, such as 'All Has Gone' and 'Thank God For The Rain', he showed he could also master the delicate acoustic folk of Nick Drake and Bert
Jansch.
