The jazz, soul and hip-hop supergroup of Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington and 9th Wonder return with their third album. Primarily instrumental, it features Phoelix across most of the record and spoken-word artist J. Ivy on the opener, continuing the warm, collaborative sound that made their debut an evergreen seller.
Since forming in 2020, Dinner Party have kept blurring the edges of jazz, soul, and hip-hop with serious warmth, sharp musicianship, and that easy chemistry that feels completely natural. After their Grammy-nominated 2020 self-titled debut, the Dinner Party: Dessert reimagining, and 2023’s Enigmatic Society, Whatchu Bringing? finds them fully in sync.
The album lands just after two 2026 Grammy nominations for co-founder Terrace Martin. His album with Kenyon Dixon, Come As You Are, was nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album, while WeMaj featuring Rapsody earned a Best Melodic Rap Performance nod at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
It also follows a busy stretch for Martin, who spent early 2026 unveiling the four-part series Passion, Peace, Purpose, and Perspective, leading to Love Is Louder Than Algorithms. With Whatchu Bringing?, Dinner Party keep the door open and the invitation warm.
