1970s BBC recordings on vinyl for the first time
Scotland's beloved folk legend was professionally active from 1970-2016, retiring on
health grounds and now living quietly in Edinburgh. This album, and its parent box set,
the crowdfunded 7CD/DVD R/evolution: 1969-83, reveals the magnificence of Dick
Gaughan's early music to the twenty- first century listener. The 10- track album is
pressed on blue coloured vinyl at Seabass Vinyl in Scotland and distributed by Last
Night From Glasgow. The vinyl insert contains a new appreciation of Dick Gaughan in
the 70s written by fellow folk legend Martin Simpson along with period photos and a
rare 1974 interview from Folk Review.
