B.B. King: The Montreux Years is the latest instalment in the acclaimed Montreux Years series, a collection of exceptional archival live recordings from artists who have helped shape the identity of the Montreux Jazz Festival.
This new album brings together a collection of B.B. King’s most remarkable live performances from nine legendary concerts recorded at the Festival over three decades. Featuring previously unreleased recordings throughout, the collection captures electrifying one-off live renditions of some of B.B. King’s best loved classics that made him a true legend of the genre.
All recordings in this collection are previously unreleased.
Presented on 2CD and 2LP audiophile vinyl, the release includes rare and unseen photography and special liner notes by award-winning writer, journalist and B.B. King biographer Daniel de Visé.
Created in collaboration with the B.B. King Estate and the Montreux Jazz Festival team.
