This album is an often overlooked one by AC/DC, especially for the Bon Scott era. Indeed, apart from the rather famous / infamous title track, many would struggle to name another song from the album, hardly surprising since the afore mentioned title track is the only one they ever seem to play live! There are some real good songs here, the rebellious 'Problem Child,' the epic 'Ain't No Fun,' and the closest thing AC/DC have made that resembles a ballad, the on the road anthem 'Ride On.'
Being their sophomore album, this is still a very raw band, and the production reflects that. Nowhere near as polished as the much more hailed classics 'Back In Black' of 'Highway To Hell,' but definitely an essential purchase for any 'DC or rock fan.
